The Indian Nations Council of Governments (INCOG) has established a series of trails which circle the city of Tulsa. These trails provide connected walking and bicycling corridors throughout Tulsa City and County. My reason to walk the P.C.T. was to fulfill my lifelong dream of walking it, and to raise money for three cancer groups and a spondylitis arthritis group.
I may not be P.C.T. Class of 2016 however, I can still raise money and awareness for the groups listed in my sub-header bar above.
Maybe I will be P.C.T. Class of 2017, maybe I won't.
I will be using the determination learned during my progression of training and bring attention to one of Tulsa's treasures in the miles of trails during 2016:
AND raise attention and donations by utilizing those miles of trails for:
The Tyler Robinson Foundation,
The Scott Carter Foundation,
CancerSucks.com,
and the Spondylitis Association of America.
The determination to thru-hike the P.C.T. will continue within me for my life's duration. To paraphrase a favorite of mine; "Me surrender the idea of walking the P.C.T.? Nuts."
Never surrender. Never.
